All of us who use email are bombarded everyday with lots of messages that we would rather not get! The major email providers such as Yahoo and AOL make great efforts in ensuring that only the email you want ends up in your inbox - which is great!
However, the problem is is that sometimes organisations who send out lots of emails get classed as spam. Or if you have never received an email from someone before that too can get classed as spam.
What does this mean? Well either the email will never get to you or it will arrive and end up in your spam box
If you have registered your details with us or have entered one of our events online then the chances are that at some point we will contact you by email (it's very cheap which is good for us!)
However there is a risk that this email which has vital information about the launch of one of our challenges or details of the event you have entered may never reach you.
Why? Simply because it may be classed as spam.
If you have an AOL / Yahoo / googlemail / Hotmail / Orange Home or BTinternet account, there are quite simply three things you can do either after you have registered your interest or before you enter one of our events online:
walkthewalk@news.walkthewalk.org
entryconfirmation@news.walkthewalk.org
info@walkthewalk.org
There are no guarantees that this will work all of the time but it should help to ensure that you may get the news or information that you need.
