This is a 3 mile challenge taking place in Liverpool so it’s ideal for newcomers to Walking the Walk and a great opportunity for all the girls in the family, no matter your age, to show what girl power can do to Raise awareness, Raise money, Get fit and Have fun!

It was a perfect summer’s day as the Walk the Walkers met up to
take part in this women’s only challenge. As we waited on the start line every
where you looked you could see girls from all ages eagerly waiting for the
starting horn to sound. The atmosphere was buzzing and we were all feeling very
excited……at last we heard the horn and we were off!
It didn’t matter if you were a runner or a walker the support
received all the way round was amazing, the ‘bra’ girls certainly got an extra
special cheer! Sefton Park is an amazing place and it was a
truly magical experience to Power Walk through its 200
acres.
At last the finish line was ahead, it was an emotional moment as
we crossed over the line and collected our medals. We wondered back to the main
area and sat down to a well deserved lunch……a perfect end to a very special
day!
