What is Walk the Walk...

Walk the Walk is a charity that is not only dedicated to raising money and awareness for vital breast cancer causes but we are also passionate about encouraging a healthy lifestyle by including power walking into your daily life as a vital part of cancer prevention.

What we do for you...
So you start as you mean to go on, we will be sending you your ‘Welcome Pack’ which will include information on how to start power walking, a training guide, how to buy good walking shoes and lots of other information that you will need over the coming months as you lead up to your challenge.

About 6 weeks before the BIG night, you will receive your hat, T-shirt and of course your bra to decorate!On the night, you will be feasting on pasta and rice to keep you going, listening to great music and uniting in our celebration! You will find plenty of toilets and water on the route and a team of smiling faces giving out medals to welcome you home!

What you do for us...
You give us your commitment to get into training to prepare for the big night, and aim to raise a minimum of £100 to help us reach our ambitious goal of £3 million! We will be granting our funds where we know it can make a difference to support vital breast cancer causes in Scotland.

Walk the Walkers do it in bras!...
Wearing bras is Walk the Walk's unique trademark, the girls and yes the guys too, all Walk the Walk in decorated bras and whilst it is not the normal sight for a Saturday night in Edinburgh... it is a sight to behold and one that succeeds in not only raising awareness but millions of pounds for vital breast cancer causes. Get ready for a fun night, were going to raise the roof of the pink tent... so be brave, get creative. Along with your bra, we'll be giving you lots of tips on how to cover your bits... and... what looks hot and what really is not!
