Ok so we will be talking about editing and altering elements within your online fundraising dashboard so make sure you:
Write a really interesting personal message – turn it into a story.
It's your space so use it!
It's so important to thank everyone who donates some of their hard earned cash. We already have a standard email in place for you but what you really should do is make it personal to you! Make it short, sweet and sincere. If you think the donation is really big, then why not even follow up with a letter or card - snail mail has its place!
When someone donates to your page they are given the opportunity to watch a video from Nina thanking them and then inviting them to find out where the money goes. Why not repeat that offer by copying this link into your email and encouraging your donors to watch:

Remember we only exist because of you our walkers and your generous donors!
Go on - be brave an put a picture on your page! A mug-shot makes your page so personal and it really doesn't have to be at all embarrassing! We have a few stock images already in place but it really is better if it's your face that greets your family, friends and colleagues that come to donate. And once you have completed your challenge - put one up of you wearing your medal and send your link around again!
4. Click on share your fundraising page
So you have a facebook page, you are on twitter and you know how email works...so what! Well this is the wonderful thing about online fundraising...you can now tell the world all about what you are doing in just a few clicks and here's how...
Facebook users: click on social and then click on "post about it" or watch the film below
Twitter users: copy your page URL and insert the link to your fundraising page into a tweet which you can spread onwards! Though make it personal!
Email users: well this should be self explanatory but make it fun, informative and exciting - don't forget to use the button below "Your computer" if you have a lot of people to email! Also, why not also put your online fundraising page web address in your email signature, so everyone you email has a chance to visit your page and make a donation. You can find the link, if you don't know how, in the email you were sent when you signed up or at the top of your fundraising page
5. Click on edit poster
A new and fun addition is your own custom poster! Add your own text and picture and it comes complete with your online fundraising page information already in place! So put it up at the office, the gym, school, shops, house window, car window...anywhere!
6. Click on update offline totals
Many of walkers also fundraise with the paper forms that we send out as well - so why not add that total to your online one as well!
Most companies have a website, so why not ask your boss if it could feature an article about you and what your doing and include a link to your fundraising page. Better still strongarm a few IT people and get them to put up your own personal widget on the front page!
To do that just go back to "share your fundraising page" as above and click on widget!
It really does! We all get so many emails every single day and sometimes things can get lost...so if there someone or a company you know that would respond better to a letter then get writing. They have a huge impact, just don't forget to include details of your personal page!
