Register to Volunteer

Register your interest for volunteering at The SunWalk Newcastle 2009 which will take place on Sunday 19th July at Exhibition Park.

We are looking for all sorts of people to do many different jobs, for example, do you know Newcastle well, or are you an advanced driver with a clean driving licence or are you a confident ? Then you could be a recovery vehicles driver or one of our cycle team ... Are you good at managing people?  We need team leaders.  Are you great with computers... then we need your help in our registration office... Perhaps you find it easy to show your enthusiasm and to encourage others... then we need you as a marshal on our route.  We are also looking for qualified massage therapists to pamper those walking muscles.  Whatever your skills, enthusiam and a smile on your face are what we need the most and we have a job waiting for you ....

If you would like to volunteer or know somebody that may have walked before and would like a different experience... becoming a volunteer is not to be missed! Every volunteer gets a T-shirt, cap, goody bag, full details of their job and a sponsor form. As donating a day is a challenge in itself, we think you deserve to get sponsored, but the decision is yours!
