Walking has been described by researchers as “the nearest activity to perfect exercise”. It is certainly the most natural, probably the most accessible sport that you can do and is suitable for all ages and abilities. The list of health benefits is endless but here are just a few good reasons to start Walking the Walk!
If you are taking part in one of our events and are looking for someone to train with, take a look at our database and see if there is someone near you? We are really keen to 'link up' neighbouring 'Walk the Walkers' and do not want anyone to be lonely on those all important training walks!
At the moment the official Walking Pals page is on hold until the New Year, however if you are keen to get going, you could also take a look at the posts in our forum and maybe meet somebody that way
