Did you know?

The goody bag you receive at the end of our challenges will not only have goodies for you to take home but it will also phyto-degrade which means that once the bag is exposed to light and heat it starts to degrade...don't worry you will be able to use it quite a few times before it begins to disintegrate so make the most of it!....Just another way that Walk the Walk are supporting a healthy environment! Did You Know?

At our two MoonWalks in 2007 we managed to recover the following staggering amounts:

Plastic: 3.56 tonnes
Cardboard: 2.22 tonnes

Now that is a lot of recycling!

A message from Biffa

Biffa are pleased to support the excellent work undertaken by Walk the Walk and are proud to be the waste contractor for the Playtex Moonwalk.  The walkers will consume approximately 70,000 bottles of mineral water in one night.  These bottles will be collected by Biffa and taken away for recycling. Why recycle? Whether at home or work., it is easy to thnk that the small part you play has no effect and why bother.  Well the answer is that every bit helps and by doing it yourself it encourages others and helps to make it more cost effective.

Let's all do our bit and help keep the Moonwalk clean and environmentally friendly. The best of luck to everybody taking part.
