Congratulations

...to all our walkers who took part in the  Nijmegen Marches they did a massive 4 marathons in 4 days WOW!

On Tuesday 17th July Sharon a member  of the Walk the Walk Team and Janet one of our loyal volunteers that regularly works in the  Woking office, had the pleasure of visiting Buckingham Palace for the Queens Garden Party. Both ladies looked stunning, and had a glorious day!

Sponsorship Money

As you can imagine we receive thousands of cheques so it does take a little while to process them all. If you have sent some money to us please give us several weeks before calling...don't worry our fingers are furiously  busy entering all your hard earned fundraising! Just look at the amount of money we have raised so far this year! INCREDIBLE and big hug to you all...just keep sending it in and we'll be on our to this years goal!

Update 30th June: Johnny has reached Dieppe and is on course for Paris today!

Jonny, the husband of one of our longest serving walkers Philipa, is walking from London to Paris to help her raise sponsorship when she takes part in this years New York Marathon. The walk starts on Thursday 26th and Jonny estimates that it will take about a week to complete. He's also proposing to produce a book about his experiences! So if you see him along the way, at least offer him a cup of tea!

He is aiming to walk about 20 miles a day and his route is as follows:

26 June - Kings Cross to Oxstead
27 June - Oxstead to Danes (near Haywoods Heath)
28 June - Danes to Newhaven
29 June Newhaven to Dieppe (ferry)
30 June Dieppe to Neufchatel en Bray
1 July Neufchatel en Bray to Gourney en Bray
2 July Gourney en Bray to Chaumont en Vexin
3 July Chaumont en Vexin to Pontoise
4 July Pontoise to Paris
5/6 July lounging around in Paris
