Some history

Natural cosmetics pioneer and SunWalk supporter, lavera natural cosmetics is internationally known for its innovative, non-synthetic and naturally effective skincare products.

lavera (which means “the truth” in Latin) uses only 100% synthetic-free, nature-identical ingredients, where possible of certified organic quality, to ensure optimum skin compatibility. No petrochemicals, artificial colorants, fragrances, preservatives or genetically modified ingredients are used, nor animal testing undertaken, in the creation of the products. Most of lavera’s range is suitable for Vegans and all their skin care, body care and colour cosmetic products are made according to strict BDIH criteria for Certified Natural Cosmetics.

The company, which was established in a small German town over 20 years ago by founder Thomas Haase, is a successful, well-respected and environmentally conscious business now represented in 27 countries worldwide. Thomas came to natural cosmetics early in life after suffering from neuro-dermatitis (an extreme form of eczema) since childhood. He resolved to create a natural alternative to conventional steroidal lotions and potions, which did nothing to improve his condition. The rest, as they say, is history and Thomas continues to head up the successful business, which impressively in this day and age, remains independent. The eleven product ranges offer more than 230 truly natural, affordable and skin-friendly products for all the family and every skin type.
