Am I registered yet? I haven’t heard anything?
We'll send you an email as soon as you register. There may be several reasons that you have not received your email, including your email manager’s spam settings or because Walk the Walk does not have your correct email address. If you are unsure please call the Volunteer team at Walk the Walk on 01483 741 430.
When will I receive my briefing pack?
If you have registered to volunteer, we are aiming to post you your briefing notes a few weeks before the event. If you need information sooner or you think your pack has been missed, please call the volunteer team on 01483 741 430.
Can I collect sponsorship?
Yes, we would be delighted if you collect sponsorship – volunteering is challenging, rewarding and eminently deserving of fundraising. However we place no expectation on volunteers to raise sponsorship. Your commitment of time in support of vital breast cancer causes and thousands of walkers is invaluable to us. If you would like a sponsor form, please give us a call.
Can I bring my child with me?
Young Volunteers are welcome! At the MoonWalks, young volunteers need to be at least 13 years old on the day of the event. Volunteers between 13 and 18 will need to be accompanied by an adult Volunteer. With regret, under 13s will not be able to visit The MoonWalk with you. Under 18s will not be able to volunteer between midnight and 6am.
Can I volunteer, or bring someone with me to volunteer, 'on the night' ?
With regret, we will not be registering anyone at the event. Please note that those not walking or registered to volunteer will not have access to the site.
Will I be with my friends?
If you have told us the names of the friends you would like to volunteer with, then you will be placed in the same team. If, for any reason, we've put you in different teams please give us a call and we'll make the necessary changes.
