EastEnders star launches The MoonWalk London 2024
EastEnders Actress Harriet Thorpe is swapping pulling pints for training walks, as she gears up to take part in the legendary night-time fundraising event, The MoonWalk London 2024. The event raises money and awareness for breast cancer and entries are now open!
On Saturday 18th May, Harriet – who plays Queen Vic landlady Elaine Peacock in the soap – will join thousands of women and men wearing brightly decorated bras and colourful bra t-shirts. People of all ages, including Harriet, will be walking a Full Moon (26.2 miles) or Half Moon (13.1 miles) through the streets of London at Midnight.
Harriet is celebrity ambassador for MoonWalk organisers breast cancer charity Walk the Walk and will be taking part in her 21st MoonWalk.
EastEnders actress and Walk the Walk Ambassador Harriet Thorpe (available for interview) said:

The beauty and simplicity of Walk the Walk, is just that - gloriously walking together, through the night, supporting each other and raising money. All of us uniting will change the future."
Walk the Walk has raised in excess of £140 million since the first MoonWalk London in 1998. Funds are granted to help improve the lives of people living with cancer now.
