Walk the Walk Recognised in Scottish Parliament!

We’re delighted to have the fantastic support of so many MSP’s and would like to thank them for uniting with us against breast cancer.

We’re so excited to tell you that Walk the Walk and The MoonWalk Scotland have been mentioned in the Scottish Parliament!

Jamie Greene, MSP for West Scotland tabled a motion in Parliament thanking our wonderful MoonWalkers Graham and Irene McIntosh from Inverkip for raising an incredible £10,000 for Walk the Walk since 2006. The motion was signed by another 28 MSP’s!

This really is a huge thank you and a massive hug for all our Walkers, particularly the thousands who’ve taken part in The MoonWalk Scotland over the years.

We’re delighted to have the fantastic support of so many MSP’s and would like to thank them for uniting with us against breast cancer. We were also honoured to hold a Walk the Walk reception at the Scottish Parliament a couple of years ago.

Did you know that many MSP’s have themselves Walked the Walk at The MoonWalk Scotland, including a group who took part in the 6.55 miles New Moon? If you live in Scotland, why not encourage your local MSP to sign up this year?

A huge thank you goes to Irene and Graham for all their fundraising and amazing outfits! See you again at The MoonWalk Scotland on Saturday 10th June.

To join Irene and Graham and to see this year’s brilliant costumes, sign up as a Walker or Volunteer at The MoonWalk Scotland.
